Acclaro is currently recruiting up to 15 Creative Marketing Translators & Transcreators(English > Brazilian Portuguese) to support ongoing marketing, entertainment, and multimedia localization projects for an active global client.

Position Overview
Language Pair: English and Portuguese (Brazil)

Location: Remote
Compensation: This is a paid freelance opportunity. Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's proposed rates and project requirements.
We are expanding our Brazilian Portuguese linguist team to support growing client demand and are seeking approximately 15 qualified professionals for upcoming and ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
Translate and creatively adapt marketing, entertainment and multimedia content to engage and resonate with local audiences.
Work collaboratively with internal and linguistic teams to ensure high quality output across various platforms.
Conduct research to understand cultural nuances, ensuring that translations are not just literal but culturally relevant.
Review and provide feedback on marketing projects to contribute to their success.
Requirements
Native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese and a strong understanding of Brazilian culture, consumer behavior, and marketing communication styles.
Proven experience of 3 or more years in translation and transcreation, preferably in a marketing context.
Bachelor's degree in Translation, Marketing, Linguistics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and the ability to adapt tone and style to fit various brand guidelines.
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Creativity and an eye for detail, capable of creating compelling and persuasive content.

The selection process consists of the following stages:
Application review
One-way video interview, taking approximately 15 to 20 minutes, which candidates can complete at a convenient time within the specified deadline
Translation and transcreation assessment to evaluate the linguistic, creative, and cultural skills required for the project
Secure identity verification for candidates selected for the project
Onboarding to Acclaro’s systems, followed by project-specific training and onboarding
Successful completion of each stage is required to be considered for a freelance engagement. All personal information is handled securely for recruitment, contracting, and compliance purposes.
